An old gambling game, baccarat is similar to basset and faro games and is a popular casino card game. Players calculate their score by adding the value of cards in their hands but ignoring any value in the ten’s digit. For example, if someone has a hand with card valuing 3 and 4, his score is 7, while if he has a hand holding 7 and 8, his score is 5 (and not 15).
